2024 - INFINITE POSSIBILITIES

On the last night of 2023 I danced upon the beach at the waters edge with my dear friend Clare and a group of wonderful humans as we the storms rolled around us and lightning light up the skies. This ecstatic dance experience was a truly magickal entry through the portal of change and into 2024 - and into a year of infinite possibilities.
My personal word for this magickal year ahead is SELF TRUST, may this pave the way forward for deeper connections to self and others and in all experiences that flow my way. And may it support those of you also for whom it resonates.
Learning to surrender to self trust, to the internal compass, to our own true north is not always easy, it means saying NO to the I can't mentality, to the excuses, the distractions and distortions, to the opinions and judgment of others and our own ideas about self-worth.
May the essence of this powerful combination of words support the journey into endless potential received and embraced.
2024 is also an 8 year which is aligned to material and financial abundance, personal power, support resources and transformations, all is available if we truly believe it is.! 8 is also infinity, the symbol of harmony, prosperity, possibility and expansiveness, just like the Rose.
And in Chinese astrology we are soon to enter the year of the Wood Dragon - associated with power, vigor, charm and leadership. (10th February).
My first card of the year pulled from the Rose Oracle is SUB ROSA - for those that aren't aware, this refers to Hidden Mysteries, the Rose being painted upon ceilings where secret meetings were held, upon banquet halls were intoxicated secrets were kept and is often linked to the Greeks interpretation of the Egyptian God Horus as the God of Silent Mysteries. Sub Rosa guides us to turn within and embrace our own hidden truths, the realms of sacred mysteries, the role of both the teacher and the student. This card is also aligned to possibility and prosperity is also possible when we truly embrace our gifts and send them out into the world with integrity and authenticity.
This morning as I lay in bed listening to the falling rain and the rumbling thunder, my room illuminated by the lighting flashes I dropped into trance with Margy Magdalene and was gifted a White Dove, this beautiful bird is also connected to Aphrodite, one of the other rose goddesses that I work with and pulls her chariot and through her is aligned to love, beauty and femininity.
The Dove connection to the goddess of love may have originally come from her Ishtar association, the Syrian Aphrodite or Ashtarte hatched from an egg nursed by doves.
Doves in many cultures are associated with spiritual messages, transitions, compassion, renewal, sacred union, compassion and kindness. All qualities that are so welcome and empowering.
My lovely friend and Augury (bird) Priestess Clare Bailey, has also told me Doves help us reclaim parts of ourselves that have been fragmented, a very important journey of integration.
