Myself Juniper Rose, from Sanctum of the Rose; High Priestess, Intuitive Witch, Women's Circle Facilitator, Journeying and Meditation Practitioner is joining forces with my dear friend and magickal Sister beautiful Natasha from Light and Life of Sounds. The Element of Water has been such a powerful teacher and guide for me throughout me whole life but has been pouring in so very strongly in recent years, influenced by 2 sacred pilgrimages to Egypt and time spent with the mighty Nile, this sacred body of water calls to me through every drop of my being. Mother Nile is so very Holy.

But it's not just the Nile, it is all bodies of water......

"Water is life's matter and matrix, mother and medium. There is no life without water".

To Me Water holds much power and also much subtlety.

Water sustains life, helps release emotion and encourages us to flow. From the powerful surge of the sea as she rolls in and pounds her self against the rocks, breaking and dispersing though always re-forming again, to the ebb and flow of her tides, a reminder of the timelessness of cycles and transitions. The raw power of the ocean teaches us strength and determination, urges us to embrace our own hidden depths.

The Power of the storm bringing rains, the deluge, the floods... awe inspiring and at times intimidating in it's sheer force, the incredible power and ability to forge new paths within the landscape. A reminder to flow over, through and around obstacles that stand in our way.

Water while powerful may also be subtle, from the peaceful trickling stream, to the gentle meditative ripples on the surface of a lake and the ethereal mists, to the droplets slowly falling from dewy flowers. This tranquil side of the water element may offer us deep peace.

There are many ways in which the flow of water resembles our choices, emotions, moods and connections, the power of flow like water supports us to release stress, teaches flexibility and endurance and also softness and gentleness.

Water governs emotions, it offers a chance to connect with our inner most secrets and desires and a deeper sense of understanding of our internal landscapes. It is also a conduit for intuition, psychic abilities, lunar communion and ancestral connections.

By connecting with the healing power of water and embracing her feminine associations we make way for the flow of deep healing through the cycles, phases and transitions of life, death and rebirth.

And not only is the Moon connected to Water but so is Venus and our own beautiful Earth which is made up of 71% Water, our beautiful bodies could not function without Water and of course my beloved Rose is also aligned to Water.....

4 Activities:

When you are stressed meditate on the sound or the visual flow of water and allow her power to offer you release and relaxation. Journal any messages that come through.

Use daily devotional dance to move to the ebb and flow of water and her amniotic rhythm. Allow yourself to surrender to the magick of the dance of life.

Embrace the Cauldron and the Chalice as tools to support your connections and magickal workings. The Mirror for self reflection, deflection of negative energies and entry to the portal between realms.

Make Moon Water with Rose Petals or Rose Quartz and on the Full Moon use it for scrying or charging tools and urging spells into ripeness. On the Dark Moon for journeying, release and deep healing.
